Origins of Tea Tradition
The base for our "Berry Mix" consists of high-quality black teas, harvested from plantations in traditional tea regions such as Ceylon. These lands are renowned for their ideal climate for growing tea bushes, ensuring a deep and rich flavor.
Interesting Fact
It is known that in the 19th century, Ceylon's (now Sri Lanka) tea plantations were almost completely destroyed by a fungus that affected coffee trees. This forced farmers to switch to growing tea, which ultimately made Ceylon one of the largest black tea producers in the world.
